I offer online therapy for adults in Ontario and other eligible provinces across Canada. My work focuses on helping people navigate challenges like anxiety, relationship issues, low mood, life transitions, self-doubt, and during times when you feel stuck or unsure of your next steps. Whether you’re looking to better understand yourself, explore what may be holding you back, or find ways to move forward, therapy can offer a supportive and reflective space to do that.
Sessions are a space for you to talk openly about what’s on your mind. We focus on what feels most relevant to you, while getting a clearer sense of what’s going on beneath the surface.
You can expect:
A collaborative, back-and-forth conversation
Opportunities to reflect and make sense of your experiences
Thoughtful questions and reflections to help you explore your circumstances from many angles
Support in trying out new ways of responding to life that may serve you well
We start where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you.
Areas of Focus

Anxiety can show up as constant worry, racing thoughts, or difficulty relaxing. Therapy provides a space to notice what keeps these cycles going, understand what your anxious thoughts and feelings may be communicating about your needs and values, and experiment with responses that feel more flexible, grounded, and aligned with what matters to you.
Ongoing pressure can leave you feeling exhausted, irritable, or overwhelmed. Therapy offers a space to reflect on what’s contributing to the stress, identify ways to respond that support your well-being, and explore strategies to reconnect with what’s important in your life.
Low mood or lack of motivation can make daily life feel heavy or unmanageable. Therapy allows you to explore what may be underlying these feelings, notice patterns that maintain them, and gently experiment with actions that promote greater engagement, meaning, and self-care.
You might struggle with self-doubt, harsh self-judgment, or feeling “not good enough.” Therapy caba provide a supportive space to understand where these critical voices come from, explore how they influence your choices and relationships, and develop a more compassionate and balanced relationship with yourself.
Trying to meet expectations—your own or others’—can be exhausting. Therapy can help you notice these patterns, explore what drives them, and experiment with responses that feel more aligned with your values and needs.
Sometimes it can feel like you’re going in circles or unsure of what comes next. Therapy xan provide a space to reflect, clarify your priorities, and begin taking small, values-driven steps toward a direction that feels more authentic.
You may find yourself suppressing emotions, holding back, or struggling to access how you truly feel. Therapy can help you to reconnect with your emotional experience, notice its messages, and respond in ways that are safe, manageable, and meaningful.
Changes like career shifts, relationship transitions, or questions about purpose can feel destabilizing. Therapy can help you reflect on what may be changing, what you might lose, what's to be gained, and what matters most to you. The goal is to navigate transitions with greater awareness and clarity.
Relationships can feel like a constant push and pull — wanting closeness but fearing it, or feeling misunderstood despite your best efforts. Therapy offers a space to notice these patterns, understand how early experiences and current relationships shape how you connect, and explore ways to relate that feel safer, more secure, and more authentic.
Anger, frustration, or emotional intensity can feel difficult to manage or understand. Therapy can help you notice what these emotions are communicating, explore their origins, and practice responding in ways that are expressive, assertive, respectful, and aligned with your needs.
Expectations around masculinity can make it harder to express emotions or seek support. Therapy provides a space to explore identity, expectations, and emotions without judgment, and to consider choices that support well-being.
You may be navigating identity exploration, coming out, the stress of not fitting in, or an internalized sense of shame. Therapy offers an affirming space to explore these experiences, reflect on how identity intersects with other areas of life, and develop ways to feel more grounded, at home, and self-accepting.
If you don’t see your exact experience here, we can still explore whether working together might be a good fit.
Here’s what a common therapy path looks like, from your first consultation to ongoing sessions.
We start with a brief, 20-minute chat to see if working together feels like a good fit.
We can meet over the phone or by secure video— whichever you prefer.
You're welcome to:
Ask questions about therapy and the process
Share what’s on your mind
Learn about how sessions typically work
If it feels like a good fit, we can book your first session, or you can take some time to think it over and get back to me.
If we decide to move forward, I’ll send you onboarding details to review before we meet.
The first session is 60 minutes and gives us an opportunity to get to know each other better.
We’ll talk about:
What brings you in
What you’ve been experiencing or struggling with
What you’re hoping for
Your strengths and supports
Any questions or concerns you have
This helps us get a clearer sense of what matters most to you and where to begin. We won’t cover everything at once—we’re building a foundation together and beginning to map a direction for our work.
Ongoing sessions are usually 50 minutes, and focus on what feels most important to you.
You can expect:
A conversational, collaborative process
Space to explore thoughts, emotions, and life circumstances
Attention to what you’re going through and how you’re experiencing it
Support in making sense of things and finding your own way forward
The work evolves through ongoing dialogue, building on what comes up in each session and where you’d like to focus next.
This is a general outline of how therapy can unfold — every person’s experience is unique, and we’ll tailor sessions to what feels most helpful for you.
Session Fees
$140 per 50-minute session (and inital 60-minute session)
$190 per 80-minute session (if this suits you better)
Payment
Payment is due within 24 hours of your session by e-transfer.
Invoices and Receipts
An invoice is provided after each session for your records. A receipt is provided after payment and can be submitted for reimbursement through extended health benefits, if applicable.
Insurance
Please check with your insurance company to confirm eligibility for Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) or Canadian Certified Counsellor services, and whether online/virtual therapy is covered. I do not directly bill insurance companies. However, most extended health plans allow clients to submit receipts for reimbursement. Coverage varies by provider.
Time and Place
When: Available session times on weekdays 10am–5pm (EST), with some evening appointments.
Where: I can meet online with adults in Ontario and in provinces or territories where psychotherapy is not regulated (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland & Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut).
If you’re located in a province where psychotherapy is regulated (e.g., Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI), we can discuss whether working together is appropriate based on local regulations.
Online/Virtual Therapy
Sessions take place through a secure video platform, allowing you to attend from a location that is private and convenient for you.
Many people find online therapy to be a flexible and effective way to access support. To get the most out of sessions, it’s helpful to join from a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection. You will need a computer as well as video, microphone, and audio technologies.
